The IEEE Madras Section Young Professionals in association with Government College of Technology IEEE Student Branch organized a Skill Development Training Programme (SDTP) on “Share Trading” from 23rd July 2016 to 25th July 2016 at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. This program was financially supported by IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals.
The core objective of this program was that the participants would be exposed to meaningful equity, economic and technical research along with financial modeling from a perspective of a trader, exposure to live trading in equity, derivative, currency and commodity. The participants were well trained to understand various classes of financial assets and recommend the relevant asset class and strategies to their clients as per their need.
The participants of the program were benefited with clear market experienced knowledge. Participants got introduced to various Trading & Research Software and websites. The resource person was a highly experienced market player having extensive command and sound knowledge on the practical aspects of the market.
The various topics covered in this course are Foundation of Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Fundamental Analysis of stocks, Company Valuation using Financial Modelling, Fixed Income, Advanced Technical Analysis: Art and Science of Trading, Options: Advanced Options Trader, Derivative Analytics, Currency and Commodity Markets.
The program was well organized by the IEEE Madras Young Professionals Affinity Group and the sessions were well received by the participants.
